I have been a freelance editor working and living in Bologna since 2004. I collaborate with many production houses and communications agencies by editing short films, commercials and documentaries for television and cinematic release.
I often work with director Vito Palmieri. Together we made the documentary ‘Il Valzer dello Zecchino’ that won the Grand Prix at the Annecy Cinema Italien festival and the special jury prize at the Festival Internazionale Arcipelago. We also made the short film ‘Matilde’ that was in competition at the 63rd Berlin Film Festival and a winner in the Kids section at the Toronto International Film Festival.
I edited and curated the entire postproduction phase of many commercials for important brands such as Bosch, Calgon, Macron, North Sails, Alce Nero, Philippe Matignon, Golden Point, l’Angelica, Unieuro, and Red Bull. I also participated in editing material for italian Television channels Raitre and Sky.
I am a senior editor, colorist and postproduction consultant.
In 2014 I also began working as an editing instructor at Rosencratz & Guildenstern, a filmmaking school in Bologna. (http://www.cinemapotenziale.it)
